Bishop Herbert Bevard presented Cardinal Seán O'Malley, Archbishop of Boston, chair of the USCCB Committee on Pro life activities and former Bishop of the Diocese of St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands, with the 2013 Keys and Sword Award on January 26, 2013. 2015 March for Life on St. Croix
The St. Croix Rally for Life took place on Sunday, March 15, 2015. The events started at the Strand in Frederiksted at 4 p.m. A canopied speaker's platform was set up on the waterfront. There were two visiting cruise ships docked at the pier for the day. While at the Strand, inspirational music was played and hymns were song. Witness talks were given by Bishop Herbert Bevard, Fr. Patrick Lynch, C.Ss.R., Fr. Eduardo Ortiz-Santiago, Sr. Lovey Reyes, I.C.M. and others. In attendance were parishioneers and parish groups from the parishes on St. Croix and students and school groups from the Catholic schools on St. Croix.  Around 5 p.m., all assembled for a rosary procession and March for Life to St. Patrick's Church where Mass was celebrated by Bishop Herbert Bevard accompanied by priests from the parishes on St. Croix. Joachim and Ann Catholic Church on November 23, 2016 Volunteers from Florida painted this dove mural, which is a symbol of the Holy Spirit, on the outside wall of the St. Joseph High School Chapel on St. Croix on February 23, 2017. The volunteer group consisted of Tim and Eileen Kozyra from the Catholic Heart Workcamp of Orlando, Florida with a group of students from Melbourne Central Catholic High School together with other chaperones. They spent the school day with some students from St. Joseph High School completing this inspirational mural. View more

Joachim and Ann Catholic Church on St. Croix help to repair a roof on one of the Parish buildings damaged by Hurricane Maria Hurricane Maria damaged all of the office equipment at St. Ann's Catholic Church on St. Croix
